I first came across this documentary about 5 or 6 years ago and after watching I thought about it for days. It’s haunting, grim, painful, and a reminder that we don’t live in a just world sometimes.
Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father tells the tale of a man who decides to make a documentary about his best friend who was recently murdered. His hope is that the film will show his unborn son what kind of a man his father was. But as he starts to shoot it, insane details about his friend’s murder start to surface.
It’s available on Netflix instant or you can watch it here. Be warned: It’s a very crazy film and a little hard to watch at times.
