Sometimes it’s the little things in life that mean the most and in the case of this documentary the little things are houses.
Gregory Kloehn began photographing makeshift homeless structures when he first acquired an iPhone a few years ago. The ingenuity shown by the homeless in creating these living spaces inspired Kloehn to create his own out of discarded trash illegally dumped across Oakland. What he did next was truly inspiring… Kloehn began donating these tiny houses to dozens of homeless people living throughout the Bay Area.
This heartwarming short documentary created by NationSwell follows Gregory and his endeavors to help Oakland’s forgotten residents. Check it out.
